The Ormino Disc Table Light takes its shape from the saucer forms of 1960s space-age design — a flat disc balanced on a slender stem, as if it had just come to rest. Where those lamps used opaque metal, Ormino turns the disc to glass so the light reads as a hovering ring rather than a solid mass.
