The shape is a tree reduced to a single glossy cone — no branches, no needles, nothing to dust. We blew it in glass so the colour sits in the material and glows from inside when it's lit, then set it on a turned metal base heavy enough to stay put on a crowded side table. The colours came last, and deliberately: an orange or yellow cone reads as a tree in December and as a piece of glass the rest of the year.

At Ø7″ and 12.9″ tall it fits a side table, console, mantel, windowsill, or desk without taking the surface over, and the 59″ cord reaches a floor or wall outlet from most furniture. It's a soft accent light rather than a reading lamp — good on a mantel through the holidays, or in a pair either end of a console. Worth knowing for the off-season: in white, yellow, or orange glass the cone reads as a piece of coloured glass rather than a Christmas tree, so it doesn't have to go back in the box in January.
