Inspiration

The Montera starts at the lathe. Each arm is turned from walnut into the profile of a spinning top — a swell, a taper, a point — and the arms radiate from a single turned hub, so the whole fixture reads as one family of curves rather than a frame with parts bolted on. Fabric cones hang beneath, pointing down over a small finial. Wood doing the structural work and fabric doing the softening is a Danish habit, kept here without ornament.

Care

Dust the fabric cones dry with a soft brush; wipe the wood and metal with a soft dry cloth. Keep all three dry, and avoid solvents on the walnut.

FAQ

Which size suits my table?

A dining chandelier reads best at roughly half to two-thirds the width of the table. On a 36–40″ wide table the 5-light at 27.6″ is usually right; the 3-light suits a narrow table or round four-top, the 6-light a wider table, and the 8-light needs a large table or an open-plan space with the ceiling height to carry a 41″ fixture. On a long rectangular table, one chandelier centred reads better than an undersized one.

What bulbs does it take?

One candelabra-base bulb per head — E12 in the US, E14 in 220–240V regions — so three bulbs on the 3-light and eight on the 8-light. Warm white 3000K LEDs are included. Note the two bases are not interchangeable: an E14 bulb won't thread into an E12 socket, so buy replacements to match your region rather than by wattage alone.

What does installation need?

A fixture-rated ceiling box fixed to a joist or brace, not a plain plastic box — this is a multi-arm chandelier with real weight, and the larger sizes carry eight arms of wood and metal. The downrod sets the drop at install, so decide the hanging height before the electrician starts; changing it afterwards means dropping the canopy again.
