I needed a floor lamp for a reading area in my bedroom, and since I have mid-century modern furniture in most of my house I wanted to keep to that style. I love the style of it. But I will say that I thought it'd be a bit brighter in the room i think the lamp cover part blocks a lot of the light which dims it a bit.

Beautiful assembly instructions and it looks good in my dining room corner but it is not that bright. It not a reading light; it is more of an ambiance lighting product.
