Inspiration

The Peony Table Lamp started from a bunch of garden peonies set on an old wooden sideboard beneath a stained glass window, the flowers half open, their petals curling outward at the edges. In the late afternoon, the colored glass above threw soft pink and amber light across the blooms. We shaped a small glass shade like one of those opening flowers, framed each piece in brass, and set it on a solid wood base.

Which glass color should I choose?
Pink gives a soft, rosy glow for a bedroom or dresser. Amber is the warmest, like candlelight, and suits wood furniture and vintage rooms. Blue is cooler and calmer, and stands out on a white or cream nightstand.
Is it bright enough to read by?
It is best as an accent light. The colored glass tints the light and softens it, so it creates a warm glow on a nightstand or console rather than a bright reading light.
How do I turn it on?
It plugs into a wall outlet and turns on with the push-button switch on the 150cm/59″ cord. No wiring is needed.
Is a bulb included?
Yes. It comes with one E26 or E27 bulb in warm 3000K light. E26 is the standard screw base used in the US, so replacements are easy to find.
