Inspiration

The Azuria Ceramic Vase comes out of the cobalt-on-white painting tradition, where the drawing is committed in one pass and cannot be corrected once the piece goes into the kiln. The pattern reads as reeds crossing over water — thin blue lines pulled fast and on the diagonal, with the blossoms left unpainted so the white body itself becomes the flower instead of a color laid on top. That reversal is the whole idea: the blue is the ground, the white is the subject. Two versions push it in opposite directions — one open and sparse, one dense enough that the blue nearly closes over.

Good To Know

!
Painted decoration · expect slight variation The blue line work is applied to each piece individually, so stroke placement and pattern density shift from vase to vase. Listed dimensions are approximate — high-fired ceramic moves slightly in the kiln, so height and width can vary by a few millimeters. This is normal for the process, not a defect.
Key Features

Reserved-White Blossoms
The flowers are left as bare white body while the blue is painted around them, so the petals are the ceramic itself — not a second color brushed on top.
Three Shapes, Two Mouth Sizes
Two round jars stand 29 cm tall with an 11 cm mouth; the flared baluster is 41 cm tall with a narrower 8 cm mouth that grips single tall stems.
High-Fired Ceramic Body
Fired at high temperature to a dense, hard body, then glazed — the glossy surface keeps the blue line work sharp and wipes clean without staining.

Use Case

The round jars are as wide as they are tall, which makes them low-profile enough for a dining room table centerpiece or a kitchen island where you still want a clear sightline across the counter — the 11 cm mouth is wide enough for a loose, rounded arrangement of hydrangea or dried grasses. Style C is 41 cm tall and only 22 cm wide, so it reads as a vertical accent: put it on an entryway console, at one end of a fireplace mantel, or on a bookshelf where a wide jar would look heavy, and let its 8 cm mouth hold two or three tall branches upright. All three are blue and white ceramic vases for a farmhouse kitchen shelf, a coastal living room, a grandmillennial dining room, or a bedroom dresser — the cobalt-and-white palette sits against white shiplap, natural wood and rattan without competing with them.

FAQ

What are the three sizes?
Styles A and B are both Dia 29 cm × H 29 cm with an 11 cm mouth (∅ 11.4″ × H 11.4″, mouth ∅ 4.3″). Style C is Dia 22 cm × H 41 cm with an 8 cm mouth (∅ 8.7″ × H 16.1″, mouth ∅ 3.1″). Each is sold individually.
What is the difference between Style A and Style B?
Same shape and same dimensions — the pattern differs. Style A is open and sparse, with thin reed lines crossing over a mostly white body. Style B is dense, with scrolling vine work covering nearly the whole surface so it reads as a much stronger blue from across a room.
What is it made of?
High-fired ceramic, glazed, with cobalt blue decoration on a white ground.
Will my vase match the photos exactly?
The palette, shape and overall composition match. Because the blue line work is applied piece by piece, individual strokes and pattern density vary slightly, and high-firing can shift dimensions by a few millimeters.
Which style suits which stems?
The 11 cm mouth on Styles A and B suits full, rounded arrangements — hydrangea, peonies, dried pampas. The 8 cm mouth and 41 cm height of Style C suit a small number of tall branches such as eucalyptus, cherry blossom or dried grasses.
How do I clean it?
Wipe the glazed surface with a soft, damp cloth and dry it off. Avoid abrasive cleaners and scouring pads, which dull the glaze and soften the blue line work over time.
