The Weldorin Flush Mount Ceiling Light started from the round Shaker boxes on old farmhouse shelves, a thin band of wood steamed and bent into a circle, with the grain running all the way around. Set one down with the lid off and you look into a shallow ring of wood with a pale floor at the bottom. We kept that bent-wood ring for the ceiling and filled the bottom with a pale, veined disc that glows when the light is on, so it reads like a slice of stone set inside the box.

Solid Wood Lighting
Each Docos lamp is shaped from a single, slow-grown hardwood — oak, walnut, ash, cherry — finished by hand and fitted with warm 2700K bulbs. No two pieces are alike, because no two trees are.

We use FSC-certified North American hardwoods and finish with low-VOC oils. Built to last decades, not seasons.
From measurement to finish, woodworking demands a balance of structure and patience. Every cut is squared, every joint dry-fit, every surface hand-sanded to 220 grit before oiling.
Each curve is shaped to honor the grain, not fight it. The result isn't just a lamp — it's a story of patience, passed from craftsman to customer through a single block of wood.
