The Nuvane is a moon set in stone. One circle of glass, one circle of travertine, nothing else — the composition came from the quarried slab itself, where a cut face already reads as a full disc of warm sediment. Travertine is a stone full of holes, laid down by mineral springs over thousands of years, and those open pits were left unfilled so the surface stays honest against the smooth, sealed curve of the glass. Rough and polished, shadow and glow, in one plane.

One size. At under 8″ across it reads as a single quiet disc rather than a fixture, which suits a bedside — often in pairs — a hallway, or either side of a vanity mirror.
