تأخذ مصباح Waldena الطاولة ظلها من صناعة الملابس بدلاً من صناعة المصابيح. يعطي طي القماش في ثنيات صندوقية عميقة للمخروط أضلاعه، وترك الحاشية تنزل في تموجات بدلاً من حافة مستقيمة ينهيها بالطريقة التي قد يتم بها إنهاء التنورة. تُدار قاعدة الرماد على مخرطة إلى عمود عادي مع حبة سوداء واحدة عند العنق — تفصيل واحد، ثم لا شيء آخر، بحيث تبقى الثنيات هي ما تنظر إليه.
تعمل Waldena كـ مصباح بجانب السرير على منضدة ليلية، أو مصباح لهجة على كونسول المدخل، أو ضوء الزاوية على درج غرفة المعيشة. يعطي الظل المطوي والمصباح الدافئ توهجاً محيطياً — ناعماً بما يكفي لغرفة النوم، وساطع بما يكفي للقراءة بجانب السرير أو الكرسي. تجلس القاعدة المدارة من الرماد والحاشية المموجة بشكل جيد مع الكتان والرتان والخشب الطبيعي.

Each Docos lamp is shaped from a single, slow-grown hardwood — oak, walnut, ash, cherry — finished by hand and fitted with warm 2700K bulbs. No two pieces are alike, because no two trees are.
