See It In Your Space
Sidra Ceramic Pendant Light

The Sidra is built around a single, well-resolved idea: a ceramic shade that earns its place on the ceiling. The white glaze has the kind of surface quality that changes with the light — cooler in the morning, warmer at dusk — and the oak canopy adds natural material contrast at the fixture's most visible point. When the bulb comes on, the ceramic diffuses the glow into a soft, even pool that settles into the room without announcing itself. Three shade profiles scale the same design for a bedside pendant, a dining table anchor, or a kitchen nook — wherever the room needs something that's both functional and genuinely considered.

Where It Lives Best
🍽 Dining Table

The ceramic shade casts a soft, even glow that makes the table below feel warm and deliberate. Three Model B or C pendants at staggered heights create a composed overhead arrangement no single fixture can replicate.

Cluster of 3 — ideal
🍳 Kitchen

White ceramic keeps the kitchen feeling light while the warm glow defines the workspace below. Two Sidras in a row above an island is a clean, considered upgrade — the ceramic reads beautifully against tile, stone, and wood.

🛏 Bedroom

Model A hangs at the ideal reading height — warm ceramic diffusion, no glare. Two flanking the bed on separate dimmers create a composed, hotel-like sleeping space with nothing on the nightstand.

Design & Material
Plain Pendant
  • Smooth metal or glass shade — no surface character
  • Canopy is metal hardware, not a material detail
  • Light is practical; the object adds nothing to the ceiling
  • White reads as blank, not refined
  • Nothing in the fixture improves the room when it's off
With Sidra
  • Ceramic glaze has depth — the surface changes with the light
  • Oak canopy introduces natural wood grain at ceiling level
  • Diffused glow is warm and even — no harsh spots or directionality
  • White reads as intentional — clean material, not absence of design
  • The form is worth noticing even when the lamp is switched off
Styling & Combinations
×3
Three Sidras in a cluster — the dining table's most considered ceiling moment. Three Sidra pendants hung at gently staggered heights above a dining table create a composed overhead arrangement where the ceramic shades repeat with quiet consistency. The white glazes relate across all three; the oak canopies anchor each fixture individually. Hung in a tight triangle above a round table or in a loose row above a rectangular one, the cluster fills the ceiling zone with warmth and material intention that a single pendant alone cannot achieve. The three pools of soft ceramic light overlap at the table surface — even, warm, and effortlessly complete.
🛏 Bedside Pair — Model A Two slim Model A pendants flanking a bed replace the nightstand lamps and free the surfaces entirely. The white ceramic and oak on both sides of the headboard create a calm, bilateral symmetry — each shade glowing at reading height, each dimmer within reach. Better in Pairs
🏺 Layer With Ceramics The Sidra's white ceramic belongs naturally alongside ceramic vessels, bowls, and objects on the table below — the lamp becomes the ceiling's contribution to a material conversation that runs from surface to canopy. The room reads as collected rather than decorated. Material Harmony
💡 Layer With Floor Lamps A Sidra overhead for focused ambient light and a floor lamp in the corner creates a two-level lighting arrangement that makes the room feel more dimensional than any single ceiling fixture alone. The ceramic glow defines the zone below it; the floor lamp handles the periphery. Layered Lighting

— Our Philosophy —

Lighting that earns its place.

At Docos, every lamp begins as a lump of clay and ends as the warmest corner of a room. We don't chase trends. We shape pieces meant to live with you — through quiet evenings, long winters, and houses that grow up around them. Made by hand. Fired hard. Built to glow.

— The Process —

Born from the hands of masters.

Every Docos base is shaped, glazed, and fired by artisans with decades of practice. We fire our stoneware to 1300°C — nearly twice the heat of standard ceramics — giving each piece the density of stone and the smoothness of jade. No two are identical. None of them are accidents.

— The Detail —

Texture you can actually feel.

Real ceramic has a weight that plastic and metal can't fake. Run your hand along the shade — you'll find soft ridges, hand-painted petals, and glaze that catches the light differently from every angle. It's the difference between owning a lamp and living with one.

  • GlazeLead-free, fade-resistant. Looks the same in year ten as year one.
  • SurfaceHand-carved ridges and hand-painted motifs — every base unique.
  • WeightSolid stoneware, not hollow plaster. Feels like a piece of stone.
