Inspiration

The Marova Chandelier is a tiered Murano-style disc chandelier — rows of round, hand-formed glass discs in a smoky brown, clipped to a metal frame in a layered, pagoda-like cascade and hung from a fabric-wrapped cord and round canopy in an Antique Brass finish, from 19.7″ to 31.5″ wide, with E14 sockets (6 to 19 by size). A mid-century, glam statement for a dining room, foyer, stairwell, or living room. Indoor, hardwired.

Good To Know
!
6 / 9 / 14 / 19 × E14 bulbs (by size) · hand-formed smoky brown glass discs · iron frame in Antique Brass · fabric-wrapped cord · hardwired · indoor dry only Each disc is hand-formed smoky brown glass with a darker edge — the exact tone and shading vary disc to disc; this is the natural character of hand-worked glass, not a defect. The frame is iron in an Antique Brass (copper-tone) finish. It hangs from a fabric-wrapped cord and round canopy, with an adjustable drop. Sockets are E14, with the count by size: 6, 9, 14, or 19. The largest size comes in two fullness levels — 50 discs (14-light) or 84 discs (19-light). Use E14 LED bulbs, 2700–3000K warm white. Hardwires to a standard ceiling junction box; a licensed electrician is recommended. Indoor, dry locations only.

Use Case

The Marova reads as warm, mid-century glam — layered smoky discs catch and scatter light, so it works as a sculptural focal point lit or unlit. The smoky brown glass and darker rims give each disc depth, and the tiers cascade for fullness from below and from the side. The Antique Brass frame warms the look, suiting traditional, transitional, and mid-century rooms.

Scale to your space and ceiling: Small (Ø19.7″) over a 4–6 seat dining table, in a foyer, or a bedroom; Medium (Ø23.6″) over a 6–8 seat table, in an entryway, or a living room; Large (Ø31.5″) for 8–10 seat tables, stairwells, or double-height entries — choose the 50-disc Standard or the 84-disc Full for extra density. Hang the bottom 30–36″ above a dining table; in an open room leave at least 7′ of floor clearance. The smoky glass with the Antique Brass frame pairs with walnut, marble, leather, and warm neutral palettes — fitting mid-century dining rooms, glam foyers, Hollywood Regency living rooms, and modern stairwells. FAQ
Which size should I pick for my space?
Pick by table or room size. Small (Ø19.7″, 6-light) over a 4–6 seat dining table, foyer, or bedroom. Medium (Ø23.6″, 9-light) over a 6–8 seat table, entryway, or living room. Large (Ø31.5″) for 8–10 seat tables, stairwells, or double-height entries — choose 50-disc Standard (14-light) or 84-disc Full (19-light). Rough rule: chandelier diameter roughly half the dining-table width. Hang the bottom 30–36″ above a table; for an open room, leave about 7′ of floor clearance.
What finish and glass color are available?
The glass is a smoky brown / topaz color with a darker edge. The iron frame, canopy, and cord are finished in Antique Brass (copper-tone). Because the discs are hand-formed, the tone and shading vary disc to disc, which is the natural character of the glass, not a defect.
How many bulbs do I need, and what type?
Bulb count depends on size: Small = 6, Medium = 9, Large = 14 (Standard) or 19 (Full). All sockets are E14. Use E14 LED bulbs, 2700–3000K warm white, so the smoky glass glows warm. If your order doesn’t list bulbs as included, plan to add E14 LED bulbs from any lighting retailer.
How do I install it — do I need an electrician?
A licensed electrician is recommended, especially for the 14- and 19-light sizes, where each socket is wired through the frame to the ceiling junction box. The chandelier hangs from a fabric-wrapped cord — shorten it at install to set the drop. It is glass-heavy and gets heavier with size, so the junction box must be properly anchored to a ceiling joist, not just fixed to drywall. Indoor, dry locations only.
How do I clean the glass discs and metal?
Turn off and let the fixture cool first. Glass discs: dust with a soft microfiber cloth, supporting each disc with one hand so you don’t stress the clip; for a deeper clean, use a lightly damp cloth or a little glass cleaner on the cloth (not sprayed onto the fixture). Antique Brass frame and canopy: wipe with a dry or barely-damp cloth and dry immediately; avoid abrasives. Dust every few months.
Docos Murano glass lighting

Every Piece, Singular.

No two of our hand-blown lamps are alike. Yours will exist nowhere else.

Why Docos

A Thousand Years of Murano.
In Every Lamp.

On a single Venetian island, master glassblowers have shaped molten color into light since 1291. We work directly with these same artisans — fewer than a hundred remain — to bring their fire, breath, and signature into your home. Every Docos piece is hand-blown, hand-finished, and signed by its maker. There are no factories. Only furnaces, time, and a skill that cannot be hurried.

The Murano Method

Six Steps. Two Thousand Degrees.
One Heirloom.

Every Docos lamp passes through three to five master craftsmen — each step impossible to fake, hurry, or outsource.

Gathering molten glass
01

Gathering

Pulled from the 1,150°C furnace — the moment glass becomes possibility.

Coloring with metallic oxides
02

Coloring

Layered with metallic oxides — copper for green, gold for ruby, cobalt for deep blue.

Glassblower shaping by breath
03

Shaping

Blown and turned by breath alone — the maestro's lungs sculpting the silhouette.

Hand-sculpting glass details
04

Sculpting

Petals, leaves, and finials pulled by hand while the glass still glows orange.

Annealing oven
05

Annealing

Cooled across 24 hours — the silent step that locks in lifetime strength.

Maestro signing finished piece
06

Signing

Each lamp inspected, numbered, and signed by the maestro who made it.

One-of-a-Kind

No Two Pieces Alike.
That's the Promise of Murano.

The swirls, bubbles, and color shifts in your Docos lamp aren't flaws to be polished away. They're fingerprints — proof your light was breathed into being by a single artisan, on a single morning, from a single gather of glass. Mass-produced lighting can be replaced. Yours cannot.

Sommerso layered glass

Sommerso. Layered.

Colors dipped layer by layer, suspended in crystal — a depth that shifts as light moves.

Pulegoso bubbled glass

Pulegoso. Bubbled.

Trapped air scattered like champagne — every bubble catching the bulb behind it.

Battuto hammered glass

Battuto. Hammered.

Hand-struck facets that fracture light like cut stone — each strike unrepeatable.
