Inspiration

The Strivelle Flush Mount Ceiling Light came from the striped awning over a small ice-cream stand by the sea. The canvas was aqua and white, faded a little by the sun, and the valance along its edge was cut in soft scallops and bound with a yellow braid. We wrapped that awning into a circle and lifted it up to the ceiling, scallops and yellow braid included.

Key Features
Scalloped Striped Fabric
An aqua-and-white striped fabric drum with soft scallops cut along both the top and bottom edges.
Yellow Braided Trim
A yellow braid follows every scallop, and the white inner liner is edged in matching striped piping.
Yellow Dome Canopy
The shade hangs on a short white stem from a yellow dome canopy, sitting close to the ceiling.

FAQ
How low does it hang?
It is a semi-flush mount: the shade hangs on a short stem, so the whole fixture is 43.8cm/17.2″ tall from the ceiling. It suits standard 8–9 ft ceilings in a bedroom, nursery or hallway where a pendant would hang too low.
How bright is it?
It holds one E26 or E27 bulb, included, in Warm Light (3000K). The striped fabric softens the light, and the open bottom lets more of it fall into the room.
How is it installed?
It is hardwired to a ceiling junction box, so we recommend a licensed electrician.
How do I clean the fabric shade?
With the light off and cool, run a lint roller or soft dry brush over the stripes and trim. For a small mark, dab it with a slightly damp cloth; don’t wash the shade.
