Inspiration

The Tassavelle Pendant Lamp started from the woven market baskets sold in Moroccan souks, wrapped in rough natural rope with a row of cream cotton tassels sewn around the rim. We wrapped jute rope around an iron frame for the top of the shade and hung three tiers of cotton tassels below it, one row over the next, so the light comes out through the gaps between them.

Which size should I choose?
The 35cm/13.8″ suits a nursery, a small bedroom or an entryway. The 45cm/17.7″ fits over a round dining table about 90–120cm/3–4 ft across. The 50cm/19.7″ suits a living room, a larger bedroom or a longer table.
What colors is it?
The top of the shade is natural jute in a light tan, the tassels are cream cotton, and the chain and canopy are gold.
How do I keep the tassels clean?
Dust the jute and cotton tassels with a soft brush or a vacuum brush on low, and gently pull any tangled strands straight with your fingers. Keep it away from steam and moisture.
How is it installed?
It is hardwired to a ceiling junction box, so we recommend a licensed electrician. Set the height with the 50cm/19.7″ adjustable chain; over a table, hang the bottom about 76–91cm/30–36″ above the surface. One E26 or E27 bulb is included.
