Inspiration

The Caelina Ceiling Light started from a jar of old glass marbles left on a sunny windowsill, each one clear on the outside with a twist of blue, pink or green caught inside. When the light came through, the colors seemed to float in the glass. We blew that same swirl of color into flat glass discs and gathered them around a small, polished chrome center.

Which glass color should I choose?

Blue and Green suit bathrooms and coastal rooms, Pink adds a soft accent to a bedroom or kids' room, and Pearl White is the quietest choice for a hallway or entryway.

Will the swirls look exactly like the photos?

Not exactly. Each disc is blown by hand, so the swirl pattern forms a little differently every time. The colors match the photos, and no two lights are identical.

Can it go in a bathroom?

Yes. It is damp rated, so it can go in a bathroom or a covered outdoor area such as a porch under a roof. Keep it out of direct shower spray and rain.

What bulb does it use, and how is it installed?

It comes with one E12 or E14 bulb in warm 3000K light. E12 is the small candelabra base used in the US, not a standard E26 screw base, so use the same type when you replace it. The light is hardwired, so we recommend a licensed electrician for installation.
