Inspiration

The Contrast Wall Sconce started from the wooden peg rails in old Shaker houses, a plain strip of wood along the wall with a few turned pegs, where a bright cloth bag or a cream linen apron hung at the end of the day. The wood stayed quiet and the fabric gave the room its one spot of color. We kept that pairing: a simple wooden base and arm on the wall, and a single linen shade in either soft beige or bright orange.

Beige or Orange?
Beige is soft and blends into a neutral wall, while Orange gives the wall one bright spot of color. Both come with the same natural wood base and arm.
Can I use it in a bathroom or outdoors?
Yes. It is damp rated, so it can go beside a bathroom mirror or in a covered outdoor area such as a porch or a patio under a roof. Keep it out of direct shower spray and rain.
Where should I mount it?
At 18cm/7.1″ wide and 26cm/10.2″ tall, it suits a bedside wall, a reading nook, either side of a mirror or a row along a hallway. A pair on each side of a bed is the most common setup.
Is a bulb included, and how is it installed?
Yes. It comes with one E26 or E27 bulb in warm 3000K light. E26 is the standard screw base used in the US. It is hardwired to a wall junction box, so we recommend a licensed electrician for installation.
