Die Tasselle orientiert sich an der Gardinenfertigung und nicht an der Beleuchtungstechnik. Ein Bogensaum, ein kontrastierendes Kabel entlang der Kante und eine einzelne Quaste in der Mitte sind Verzierungen, die eine Werkstatt anbringt, um ein einfaches Panel aufzulockern – daher wurden sie auf einen breiten, flachen Schirm übertragen. Die Quaste ist das Teil, das es verrät: Sie hängt frei, bewegt sich leicht in einer Zugluft und setzt ein kleines Zierstück dahin, wo die meisten Deckenleuchten flach enden.
