Die Sylvarra Pendelleuchte entstand durch das Beobachten von Licht, das durch ein Blatt scheint — dicht an den Adern, leuchtend an den Rändern. Bassholz wird dünn genug geschnitten, um transluzent zu sein, und dann schichtweise übereinander wie Blütenblätter angeordnet, sodass jede Überlappung einen dunkleren Ton als die benachbarte zeigt. Die Messingarmatur in der Mitte ist absichtlich klein; das Holz soll die gesamte Leuchte sein. Im Licht strahlt der Schirm von innen heraus und wirft blattförmige Schatten an die Decke um ihn herum.
Zwei Größen — die kleine ist höher und schmal (einzeln, als Eingang oder Bettkopfpaar); die große ist breit und niedrig (über einem Tisch oder einer Insel).

Each Docos lamp is shaped from a single, slow-grown hardwood — oak, walnut, ash, cherry — finished by hand and fitted with warm 2700K bulbs. No two pieces are alike, because no two trees are.
