Inspiration

The Lilymere Chandelier started from the lily of the valley that comes up along garden walls in late spring, small white bells hanging one after another from thin, arching stems, with broad leaves curling up around them. A handful picked and laid on the kitchen table spreads out in loose curves, every bell facing a slightly different way. We kept that loose spread of stems and leaves in gold metal, and made each white bell from matte ceramic with a light inside.

Hand-antiqued finish

The gold finish is aged by hand, and each ceramic flower is shaped one at a time. Small differences in tone and shape from the photos are part of the piece.

FAQ
Where will it fit?
At Ø 31.5″ wide but only 15.7″ tall, it suits a dining table for four to six, a living room or a main bedroom. Because it is low, it works well under standard 8 ft ceilings where a taller chandelier would hang too far down.
Are the flowers glass?
No. The flowers are matte white ceramic. The light comes down out of the open end of each bell, and the ceramic keeps a soft, chalky white look whether the light is on or off.
Is the worn look on purpose?
Yes. The gold finish is antiqued by hand to look aged, so the tone varies slightly across the frame and from piece to piece. Dust it with a dry brush rather than polishing it.
What bulbs does it use, and how is it installed?
Each flower holds one G9 bulb, and the bulbs are included in warm 3000K light. G9 is a small bi-pin bulb, so use the same type when you replace one. The chandelier is hardwired to a ceiling junction box and hangs on a chain, so we recommend a licensed electrician for installation.
