The Velorin Pendant Light comes from the ribbed lantern, the kind that collapses flat because its cloth is stretched over a hoop frame. Those ribs are usually something to hide; here they stay visible as dark seams running pole to pole, which is what gives the flattened gourd shape its segments. Lit from inside, the cloth carries the glow and the seams read as thin lines across it. The low, wide silhouette suits Japandi, wabi-sabi, and warm-minimalist rooms over a dining table, a kitchen island, or a bed.
