The Gathermere Pendant Light pleats a linen shade into a fine, fan-folded cone with a ruffled edge gathered along the bottom, hung on a twisted cord from a round metal canopy. The result reads like a piece of soft-structured tailoring rather than a rigid shade. Offered in four sizes, it works well as a dining room pendant, a bedroom fixture, or a reading nook light in a farmhouse or cottage-style room.

Woven shades that turn a bulb's glare into an even, ambient glow — across six silhouettes, built for pendants, floor lamps, and table lamps.
Glass and metal shades direct light. Fabric scatters it — the weave spreads the bulb's output evenly across the whole surface, so the shade glows instead of throwing a single hot point.
Cotton, linen, and blended weaves keep their pleat and stitch detail visible in daylight — the fixture reads as a design object whether the light is on or off.
Cloth doesn't reflect light. It softens it.

They spread light rather than reduce it — the shade glows evenly across its surface. Pair with a higher-lumen bulb for task lighting, or a standard warm-white bulb for ambient light.

Fabric shades are generally intended for dry, indoor locations. Check the product's specific damp/wet rating before installing in a bathroom or covered outdoor space.
A warm-white LED (2700K–3000K) is the most common pairing — soft glow, low heat near the fabric. Check the product page for the exact bulb type and wattage it's rated for.
Table and floor lamps are plug-in and ready to use. Hardwired pendants and flush mounts should be installed by a licensed electrician per local code.
