Inspiration

The Ornavelle Mirror started from a round window in an old Paris apartment: the curtain had been pulled aside and swept around the frame in loose folds, with a spray of flowers tucked in at the top corner and another caught where the fabric fell at the bottom. We carved those folds and flowers by hand and wrapped them around a round mirror, keeping the drape uneven, just as the curtain had hung.
