Cremelle Semi-Flush Mount

The Cremelle started with the idea of a cloud caught at the ceiling — cream fabric gathered and twisted until the form looks soft rather than built. Instead of a rigid drum, the folds fall in different directions, so the surface changes as you move under it. Stacked walnut beads at the neck bring the warmth of furniture rather than fixture hardware, a detail borrowed from Japandi joinery. The result sits close to the ceiling and reads as something draped there, not mounted.

One size: Ø19.7″ × H17.7″ (Ø50 × H45 cm), sized for rooms of about 108–194 sq ft (10–18 m²) with ceilings 8 ft or higher. On an 8 ft ceiling the bottom of the shade sits around 6.5 ft from the floor, so it clears a walkway where a pendant would not — for 7.5 ft ceilings, choose a fully flush mount instead. Over a dining table, the 19.7″ silhouette suits a four-seat table.
