Inspiration

The Canopelle Pendant Lamp came from a white parasol left open on a porch to dry after a summer rain. Its panels were pulled tight between the ribs, the edge fell in soft waves, and a short wooden handle stood straight up from the top. We kept all three: the panels, the wavy edge and the wooden handle, and turned the parasol upside down to hang it from the ceiling.

The Small (Dia 45cm/17.7″) suits a bedroom, a nursery or a small dining table. The Medium (Dia 50cm/19.7″) suits a dining table or a kitchen island. The Large (Dia 60cm/23.6″) suits a living room or a larger dining room.
How bright is it?
It holds 3 × E26 or E27 bulbs, included, in Warm Light (3000K). The fabric glows softly all over, and more light falls from the open bottom onto the table or floor below.
How is it installed?
It is hardwired to a ceiling junction box, so we recommend a licensed electrician. The 150cm/59″ cord is adjustable, so you can set the drop to suit your ceiling height.
How do I clean the fabric shade?
With the light off and cool, run a lint roller or soft dry brush over the panels. For a small mark, dab it with a slightly damp cloth; don’t wash the shade.
