Inspiration

The Sorevia Pendant Light began with a dressmaker's problem: how to make cloth hold a curve without a frame showing through. The answer was pleating — gather each panel by hand, let the folds carry the shape, and the shade becomes several petal-shaped lobes rather than one drum. The lower edges are left to curl outward, the way fabric naturally wants to. A turned dark wood ball caps the top, the single piece of hardware you see from below, warm against the cream cloth.

Is a bulb included, and do standard US bulbs fit?

Yes — a 3000K warm white bulb is included, and the socket is E26 or E27 medium base, so standard US E26 bulbs thread straight in. Stick with LED replacements rather than incandescent to keep heat down near the fabric shade.

Can I install it in a kitchen or bathroom?

The shade is fabric, so it shouldn't go anywhere with direct steam or high humidity. Over a dining table away from the range is fine; directly above a stovetop or in a bathroom is not.

Is it hardwired or plug-in?

Hardwired to a ceiling junction box, operated through your wall switch — there's no plug-in option. The cloth cord length is adjustable at the canopy, and professional installation by a licensed electrician is recommended.
