Splova Wall Lamp

Splova started from a photograph of a drop of water hitting a flat surface — the instant the crown throws itself outward and holds, for a fraction of a second, a shape nobody designed. We cast that moment in resin around a single glowing sphere, so the light sits at the centre of the splash rather than behind it. The curves are asymmetric on purpose; nothing here repeats. Finished matte, in five earth tones, it reads more like a wall-mounted object than a fixture.

At W9″ × H9″ Splova is a single-point accent rather than a room's light source — it works beside a bed, sofa, or mirror, in a hallway or stairwell, or as a pair flanking a vanity or headboard at roughly 60–66″ from the floor. Because it's damp rated it also goes where most sculptural fixtures can't: a bathroom, or a covered porch or balcony wall. The glow comes from the centre of the form, so the light is soft and close to the wall — pair it with a reading lamp where you need to see detail.
