Inspiration

The Fleurcienne Mirror started from an oval portrait frame found at an antiques fair in the south of France: the gilt had worn thin along the molding, and carved flowers were clustered at the top, the sides and the bottom, as if someone had pressed a wreath of real blooms around the edge and left gaps for the frame to show through. We carved those clusters by hand and set them around an oval of mirror glass in place of the portrait.

Key Features

Hand-Carved Flower Clusters

Groups of carved flowers and leaves sit at the top, sides and bottom of the frame, carved by hand, cast and sanded.

Molded Oval Frame

A stepped, molded resin frame runs around the oval between the flowers, W 80cm x H 90cm overall.

Shatter-Resistant Mirror

The oval mirror glass has a shatter-resistant finish for use in busy entryways and family rooms.

FAQ

Where will it fit?

At W 80cm/31.5″ x H 90cm/35.4″, it suits the wall above a fireplace mantel, a console table or a dresser about 100–150cm/3.5–5 ft wide, or an entryway wall as a statement piece.

Which finish?

Gilded Gold gives a classic French look for a living or dining room; Matte Black stands out on a white or light gray wall; Antique Bronze has a darker, aged look that pairs with wood and vintage furniture.

Is the mirror glass safe?

Yes. The mirror glass has a shatter-resistant finish, which reduces the risk of loose shards if it breaks.

How do I clean it?

Wipe the glass with a dry lint-free cloth and dust the carved flowers with a soft dry brush. Avoid water and chemical cleaners on the frame.
