Inspiration

The Lorvienne Chandelier comes from the triedri prism chandeliers made in Venice in the 1960s. Long three-sided rods of green glass hang side by side from two stacked iron rings in copper tone, so close together that the fixture reads as a solid curtain of glass, the way those Murano workshops packed hundreds of prisms onto a single frame. A copper-tone chain and canopy carry it from the ceiling. Lit from within, each prism bends the light through its edges and the green deepens toward the tips, which is why this green glass prism chandelier was designed for a dining room, entry foyer, or bedroom in Hollywood Regency, mid-century, and maximalist homes.

FAQ

Which size fits my dining table?
Aim for half to two-thirds of the table width: 50cm over a table up to 120cm/4 ft, 60cm up to 150cm/5 ft, and 80cm for a 180–240cm/6–8 ft table or a two-story entry.
How does the light come through green glass?
The prisms are translucent, not opaque: light passes through and refracts off the three edges, so the fixture glows green-gold and casts a soft green tint on nearby walls. It reads as ambient light; add downlights if you need bright task light on the table.
How is it shipped and assembled?
The frame ships assembled and the prisms are packed in foam trays. After the frame is hung, each prism hooks onto the ring by hand — no tools needed, though the large size takes about an hour.
Which bulbs should I use?
Small-base E12 or E14 LEDs are included, one per socket. Warm 2700–3000K keeps the green looking emerald rather than teal; clear bulbs show the prism edges best.
Docos Murano glass lighting

Every Piece, Singular.

No two of our hand-blown lamps are alike. Yours will exist nowhere else.

Why Docos

A Thousand Years of Murano.
In Every Lamp.

On a single Venetian island, master glassblowers have shaped molten color into light since 1291. We work directly with these same artisans — fewer than a hundred remain — to bring their fire, breath, and signature into your home. Every Docos piece is hand-blown, hand-finished, and signed by its maker. There are no factories. Only furnaces, time, and a skill that cannot be hurried.

The Murano Method

Six Steps. Two Thousand Degrees.
One Heirloom.

Every Docos lamp passes through three to five master craftsmen — each step impossible to fake, hurry, or outsource.

Gathering molten glass
01

Gathering

Pulled from the 1,150°C furnace — the moment glass becomes possibility.

Coloring with metallic oxides
02

Coloring

Layered with metallic oxides — copper for green, gold for ruby, cobalt for deep blue.

Glassblower shaping by breath
03

Shaping

Blown and turned by breath alone — the maestro's lungs sculpting the silhouette.

Sculpting

Petals, leaves, and finials pulled by hand while the glass still glows orange.

Signing

Each lamp inspected, numbered, and signed by the maestro who made it.

One-of-a-Kind

No Two Pieces Alike.
That's the Promise of Murano.

The swirls, bubbles, and color shifts in your Docos lamp aren't flaws to be polished away. They're fingerprints — proof your light was breathed into being by a single artisan, on a single morning, from a single gather of glass. Mass-produced lighting can be replaced. Yours cannot.

Sommerso layered glass

Sommerso. Layered.

Colors dipped layer by layer, suspended in crystal — a depth that shifts as light moves.

Pulegoso bubbled glass

Pulegoso. Bubbled.

Trapped air scattered like champagne — every bubble catching the bulb behind it.

Battuto hammered glass

Battuto. Hammered.

Hand-struck facets that fracture light like cut stone — each strike unrepeatable.
