The Varellion Chandelier comes from the triedri prism chandeliers of 1960s Venice. Short three-sided rods of amber glass hang shoulder to shoulder from two stacked chrome-plated iron rings, so tightly packed that the fixture reads as a solid block of honey, the way those Murano workshops built their prism fixtures, and one longer prism drops from the center like a pendant. A chrome chain and bell canopy carry it from the ceiling. Lit from within, each prism bends the light through its edges and the amber deepens to orange at the tips, which is why this amber glass prism chandelier was designed for a dining room, entry foyer, or bedroom in mid-century, Hollywood Regency, and retro homes.
