Vera comes from watching a flower open — the way a petal's edge lifts and folds instead of ending in a straight line. The shade takes that undulating rim and holds it in glass, so the outline is never quite symmetrical from any two angles. Colored glass does the rest: the same shape reads soft in white, moody in purple or brown, sunlit in amber. It's a shape that behaves differently lit and unlit, which is most of the point.

At Ø11″ this sits between a mini pendant and a full shade — big enough to work alone over a small round table, a bedside, or an entry, and sized to hang in a row of two or three over an island or bar counter. Aim for the bottom of the glass around 30–36″ above a counter and 30–34″ above a dining table, spacing multiples 26–32″ apart. One bulb behind colored glass gives a warm, directional pool of light rather than room-wide brightness, so keep other lighting in a working kitchen.
