Brinelle Semi-Flush Mount

The Brinelle Flush Mount began with the woven sun hats left hanging by the door of a coastal summer house — brim wide, edge soft, ribbon stitched around it by hand. That millinery logic shaped the fixture: a drum brim divided into scalloped panels by vertical ribbon, falling to a gently wavy hem instead of a hard rim. Warm gold hardware stands in for the polished brass fittings of an older shore cottage. The result behaves more like a textile than a light fitting — quiet, unhurried, and made to sit close overhead.

Center the Brinelle over the bed in a main or guest bedroom, or over a four-seat dining table where a pendant would hang too low. In hallways and entryways the 18.9″ diameter spreads light across narrow circulation space without crowding the ceiling, and it works equally well over a home office desk.

Pair with linen bedding, oak or rattan furniture, woven baskets, and warm metal hardware. The included 3000K bulbs give a soft ambient wash; add an LED-rated dimmer for day-to-evening adjustment.
