Inspiration

The Emmental Floor Lamp takes its cue from the mid-century task lamps found in Scandinavian reading nooks — a slender pole that rises quietly from the floor, then bends like a stem to bring a cone of light down over the page. Nothing about it demands attention; the brass collar and warm-toned pole simply catch the evening light while the matte shade keeps the glow focused and soft. It is the lamp you notice only when you sit down beside it — and then wonder how the chair ever felt complete without.
