Does a candle warmer lamp work with any jar candle?

Yes. It's made to melt standard large jar candles and 3-wicks up to about 4″ (10 cm) wide — including the ones you already own. There are no proprietary refills.

Is a candle warmer lamp really flameless and safe around kids and pets?

There's no wick and nothing burning — only a warm bulb above the wax — so it's far safer to leave on than an open flame. Place it on a stable surface and switch it off before bed if you prefer.

Will it melt the whole candle and stop tunneling?

Heat spreads across the top of the wax evenly, so the full pool melts instead of just the center. You get the fragrance from the entire candle rather than wasting the bottom inch.

How long until the wax melts and the fragrance releases?

Most candles begin to release scent within roughly 15–30 minutes as the top layer warms. Larger or deeper jars take a little longer to reach a full melt pool.

Is the candle warmer lamp bright enough to use as a light?

It gives a soft, warm downward glow — enough to work as a cozy accent or nightstand light, though it isn't meant to be a primary room light.

Can I replace the bulb, and what voltage does it use?

I got this candle warmer for my living room and it matches the farmhouse design we have perfectly, the warmer is made completely out of Metal and it has a really nice quality look and feel, i like the size too, it can hold a pretty decent sized candle

So I have been obsessively collecting these over the last couple of months for a couple reasons.
Reason #1 - I'm terrified of lighting candles and having a pet or kid knock one over and setting my house on fire. These help eliminate that fear because there is no fire!
Reason #2 - These look GREAT on bookcases.
Reason #3 - As a teacher, I cannot light candles in the classroom. An open flame would get me in deep trouble with the Fire Chief. These are a great option for those of us who would like to try to eliminate the stinky kid smell!
