Why It Works

🏮 Lantern Silhouette An organic, rounded form inspired by traditional Chinese lanterns — soft and sculptural rather than geometric. It brings a warm, timeless character to the ceiling that a plain drum or globe doesn't.

🧵 Woven Threads & Matte Finish A wire frame is wrapped in woven threads and finished with a matte lacquer, so the surface has real texture. Lit, the weave creates a lantern-like glow with a gentle interplay of light and shadow.

📐 Three Models Model A is tall and vertical, B is compact, C is a wide statement — one form scaled for different rooms and ceiling heights. A single E26/E27 bulb up to 40W, dimmer compatible (switch sold separately).

Fabric Lighting FAQ

Do fabric shades make a room dimmer than glass or metal shades?

They spread light rather than reduce it — the shade glows evenly across its surface. Pair with a higher-lumen bulb for task lighting, or a standard warm-white bulb for ambient light.

Are fabric lampshades washable?

Most shades in this collection are spot-clean only. Check the individual product page for the specific care instructions for that material.

Can I use a fabric shade in a bathroom or damp area?

Fabric shades are generally intended for dry, indoor locations. Check the product's specific damp/wet rating before installing in a bathroom or covered outdoor space.

What bulb type works best with a fabric shade?

A warm-white LED (2700K–3000K) is the most common pairing — soft glow, low heat near the fabric. Check the product page for the exact bulb type and wattage it's rated for.

Do these fixtures require professional installation?

Table and floor lamps are plug-in and ready to use. Hardwired pendants and flush mounts should be installed by a licensed electrician per local code.

These pendants are great quality and have a softer light to the that I love. You can put a different bulb in for stronger lighting. My contractor hung them, but had no difficulty doing so.
