That sounds like a recipe for four very similar lights. It is not.
Put the Velric, Tavien, Caelvon, and Norvessa Table Lights side by side and each one has a completely different presence. One feels almost sculptural, another stays deliberately quiet, one brings a little playfulness, and the last has the familiar weight of a classic table lamp.
If you already like the warmth of travertine and paper lighting, the more useful question is not which material to choose. It is which of these four feels right in your room.
The Velric Table Light is the one you notice first.
Its travertine base borrows the shape of an amphora, with a narrow waist and two ring-like handles at the shoulders. That gives it the character of a decorative object before the lamp is even switched on. A simple rice paper shade keeps the upper half light enough that the stone base can remain the focal point.
Velric is also taller than the other designs at 18.5 inches, yet its base occupies only about 3.9 inches of tabletop. That combination makes it useful when you want visual presence without a bulky footprint.
The Tavien Table Light goes in almost the opposite direction.
Instead of an expressive base, it uses a simple turned travertine pedestal beneath the paper shade. At about 13.8 inches high, it is also the lowest-profile lamp in this group.
That makes Tavien easy to live with. It does not ask to become the centerpiece of a room, which can be exactly what you want when the surrounding space already has artwork, patterned textiles, a strong headboard, or more decorative furniture.
The appeal here is less about an unusual silhouette and more about the material combination itself: solid stone below, soft paper above, and a small wood detail between the two.
The Caelvon Table Light is probably the most playful design in the group.
Its base is built from four graduated travertine spheres stacked one above another, creating a bubble-like rhythm beneath the rice paper shade. The whole lamp measures about 16.5 inches high.
What works about Caelvon is that the shape is unusual without feeling gimmicky. In bright plastic or glossy metal, the lamp could easily become much more playful. In travertine, the effect is quieter. The stone keeps the rounded form grounded, while the simple paper shade stops the design from becoming too busy.
The Norvessa Table Light feels the most familiar of the four, and that is part of its appeal.
Its travertine base uses a fuller jar-like form, topped with a broad rice paper shade. At about 16.9 inches high with a 7.1-inch base, it has noticeably more visual weight at the bottom than Velric.
The result feels substantial rather than sculptural. Norvessa is a good choice if you like the travertine-and-paper combination but do not necessarily want the lamp itself to feel experimental. The proportions are closer to the table lamps most of us are already used to seeing, just translated into more tactile materials.
The easiest way to separate these four is by the role you want the lamp to play.
When the lamp should feel like part lighting, part decorative object.
When you want materials to add warmth without competing with the room.
When the space feels too serious and could use a softer, playful shape.
When you prefer visual weight and a familiar, grounded presence.
The nice part is that you are not choosing between four completely different material palettes. All four use natural travertine, rice paper, and wood, so the overall mood stays consistent even though the silhouettes change.
Tavien and Caelvon are available with yellow, red, or silver travertine and off-white or light brown rice paper shades, while Velric and Norvessa offer the same general palette with silver-grey stone options.
That also means the color can stay secondary. Start with the lamp whose overall presence feels right, then use the stone and shade finish to make it sit more naturally with the room you already have.
One thing to expect with any of the four: travertine is natural stone, so the pores, markings, and tone will vary from one base to the next. The piece you receive will not be an exact copy of the product photography—and that variation is part of what gives the material its character.
