This lamp began with the paper lantern — a shade you light from within rather than point at a wall. We wanted that quality on a side table: a small, softly ribbed dome that turns a single bulb into a warm, low pool of light. The curve is drawn to sit at eye level when you're seated, so the glow lands on the room and not in your face. Nothing about it demands attention; it simply makes a corner feel lived in.

At Ø10.2″ and 16.9″ tall it fits a nightstand, side table, console, or desk without crowding it, and the 59″ cord reaches a floor outlet from most furniture. Washi, traditional Japanese paper, is crafted from the inner barks of plants like kozo, mitsumata, and gampi. The process involves carefully stripping, boiling, and pounding the fibers into pulp, which is then spread onto bamboo mesh to form delicate sheets. Its a great lamp. Just like the original at a 10th of the price. I have a cat and kids Ilove the look but didnt want to spend so much for something that could be poked or torn. Its very high quality. I recommend it
I'm really enjoying this table lamp, It was easy to assemble but if it's your first paper lamp do go slow and gently pull the shade down over the base to secure.. You can search around for different warmths to your liking while using.
