Inspiration

The Budelisse Wall Sconce came from an old iron garden gate in autumn, where a climbing vine had wound itself along the top rail. Its leaves had already turned gold, but three late flower buds still hung down from the vine, pale pink on one side of the garden and soft violet on the other. We kept the curve of the vine, the gold leaves and the three buds, and moved them indoors onto the wall.

Which combination should I choose?
There are four: Rustic Bronze with Pink, Rustic Bronze with Lavender, Black with Pink and Black with Lavender. Rustic Bronze looks warmer and more antique; Black makes the gold leaves and glass colors stand out more. The Pink buds are fluted and frosted; the Lavender buds are clear with violet tips.
How bright is it?
It holds 3 × G9 bulbs, included, in Warm Light (3000K). The light glows through the glass buds and falls downward, as an accent light above a dresser or along a hallway rather than a room’s main light.
How is it installed?
It is hardwired to a wall junction box behind the round backplate, so we recommend a licensed electrician. Over a dresser or dressing table, mount it about 60–75cm/24–30″ above the top surface.
How do I clean it?
With the light off and cool, wipe the glass buds with a soft dry cloth and dust the leaves gently with a soft brush. Avoid rubbing the gold leaves hard, as they are hand-painted.
Does it match the Budelisse Chandelier?
Yes. Both use the same Pink or Lavender glass flower buds and hand-painted gold leaves. The chandelier comes on a black frame, so choose Black with Pink or Black with Lavender for an exact match: hang the chandelier over the bed or dining table and a sconce on each side, or above a dresser in the same room.
