Inspiration

The Marvion Floor Lamp leans like a beach umbrella planted in sand: a wide striped cone shade sits atop a single pole that tilts forward from a low horseshoe base, so the light reaches over the arm of a chair without a bulky stand beside it. The pole is wrapped in leather over an ash wood core, the base is flat black steel, and a short brass-tone neck carries the shade with a pull chain hanging just beneath it. Offered in burgundy, black, or forest green with cream panels, this leather and wood floor lamp fits a reading chair, living room corner, or bedroom in mid-century, retro, or vintage-modern interiors, and pairs with bouclé seating, walnut side tables, and terrazzo or wool rugs.

How far does the shade reach out from the base?
The pole leans forward so the shade center sits roughly over the front edge of a chair seat when the base is tucked behind it. Total height is 155cm/61″, shade width 50cm/19.7″.
Will the base fit around my sofa leg?
The horseshoe base is 35cm/13.8″ wide and 25cm/9.8″ deep with an open front, and only 1cm/0.4″ thick, so it slides under a sofa skirt or around a chair leg.
What bulb does it use?
E26 or E27, 9W, warm 3000K, included — one bulb.
How do I turn it on?
A pull chain hangs from the brass-tone neck just under the shade. The 250cm/98.4″ cord has a plug and an inline switch as well.
