Inspiration

The Striella Linear Chandelier started from a seaside café bar at the end of a summer evening: black-and-white striped umbrellas folded shut in a row along the terrace, and a turned wooden rail running the full length of the counter where people leaned in to order. We turned that rail in ash wood, finished it in black, and hung four striped glass bells beneath it like the umbrellas, each with a small gold bead at the top.

Will it fit over my kitchen island?

At L 120cm/47.2″, it suits a kitchen island or rectangular dining table about 150–240cm/5–8 ft long, leaving space at each end.

What is it made of?

The bar is turned ash wood finished in black. The four bell shades are handmade glass in black and white stripes, each with a gold bead above it.

How bright is it?

It holds four E12 or E14 bulbs in Warm Light (3000K), included. The bell shades send the light down onto the counter or table, which suits dining and kitchen task lighting.

How is it installed?

It is hardwired to a ceiling junction box and hangs from two 150cm/59″ adjustable cords on a 57cm/22.4″ linear canopy, so we recommend a licensed electrician.
