Inspiration

The Eversham Wall Sconce started from ribbon-tied bouquets and the little brass bows on old French dressing-room mirrors. We bent a slim brass arm up from a round walnut plate and tied a cast bow where it turns, as if a ribbon were holding the stem. A turned walnut collar carries a small shade with a scalloped hem and a single sprig of white flowers. Lit, the shade glows soft cream and the sprig shows like a pressed flower held up to the light.
