The Velmora Wall Sconce takes its shape from a scallop shell, with ridges that fan outward from the center and catch a shallow shadow line down the wall. The glow sits low in the hollow of that form, so it reads as soft ambient light rather than a beam aimed at anything in particular. It was drawn for narrow walls — beside a bed, along a hallway, up a stairway, or next to an entryway mirror — where a table lamp has nowhere to sit. The result is a bedroom wall sconce for japandi, wabi-sabi, and organic modern rooms, quiet enough to read by at the end of the day.
