Inspiration

The Veloura Table Light draws on the cast-glass lanterns of mid-century and Art Deco interiors, when amber glass was prized for the way it turned ordinary light into something warm and golden. Four bubbled amber art-glass panels are set into a cube shade and bracketed at the corners, with a small metal knob finial capping the top like the lid of a jewelry box.

Below, a six-sided brushed-gold steel column gives the lamp its architectural stance — clean facets that echo the cube above and catch the light along each edge. Switched on, the glow moves through the textured glass in ripples and flecks, so the lamp reads as much like a small sculpture as a light. It brings a soft, honeyed warmth to a console, nightstand, or sideboard, especially in the evening.
