The Azuria Ceramic Vase comes out of the cobalt-on-white painting tradition, where the drawing is committed in one pass and cannot be corrected once the piece goes into the kiln. The pattern reads as reeds crossing over water — thin blue lines pulled fast and on the diagonal, with the blossoms left unpainted so the white body itself becomes the flower instead of a color laid on top. That reversal is the whole idea: the blue is the ground, the white is the subject. Two versions push it in opposite directions — one open and sparse, one dense enough that the blue nearly closes over.
The round jars are as wide as they are tall, which makes them low-profile enough for a dining room table centerpiece or a kitchen island where you still want a clear sightline across the counter — the 11 cm mouth is wide enough for a loose, rounded arrangement of hydrangea or dried grasses. Style C is 41 cm tall and only 22 cm wide, so it reads as a vertical accent: put it on an entryway console, at one end of a fireplace mantel, or on a bookshelf where a wide jar would look heavy, and let its 8 cm mouth hold two or three tall branches upright. All three are blue and white ceramic vases for a farmhouse kitchen shelf, a coastal living room, a grandmillennial dining room, or a bedroom dresser — the cobalt-and-white palette sits against white shiplap, natural wood and rattan without competing with them.
Energy-efficient LEDs deliver a brighter, longer-lasting glow with none of the upkeep of traditional bulbs.
