Inspiration

The Azzura is a disc and nothing else — the saucer shape the space age kept returning to, reduced to a flat plate with a diffuser underneath. Almost the whole fixture is a single horizontal plane, which is what makes the small parts count: a short stack of chrome where the cord meets the disc, and one glossy ball on top in a contrasting colour. That ball is the only curve on the piece, and it does most of the work.

Flat Disc with Acrylic Diffuser

A frosted acrylic panel across the underside of the disc spreads light straight down as a broad even wash, with no visible hotspot.

Integrated 72W LED

The light source is built into the disc — nothing to buy or screw in, and enough output to serve as the main light over a table or island.

Four Colourways

A disc finish paired with a contrasting glossy ball finial — the one detail that sets the tone of the whole fixture.

Polished Chrome + Blue

Mirror-chrome disc with a glossy blue ball — the brightest and most reflective option, and the most overtly retro.

Black + Walnut-Tone

Matte black disc with a walnut-tone ball — graphic against a pale ceiling, and the easiest to read from a distance.

Cream + Walnut-Tone

Soft cream disc with a walnut-tone ball — the quietest of the four, nearly disappearing into a white ceiling.

Wipe with a soft dry cloth. Avoid solvents and abrasives on the acrylic diffuser — both cloud the surface, and a clouded diffuser can't be polished back.

FAQ

Can the LED be replaced?

No — the LED is integrated into the disc, so there are no sockets and no bulbs to buy. If it fails within the warranty period the fixture or driver is serviced or replaced; treat it as a long-life fixture, since integrated LED pendants typically run 30,000–50,000 hours. That's the trade-off for the flat profile: a socketed version of this shape would be considerably deeper.

Is it bright enough on its own, and can I dim it?

72W of LED is a lot for a single pendant — over a dining table or a standard island it can carry the room without recessed cans backing it up, and the diffuser keeps that output from becoming glare. On dimming, email us before ordering: integrated drivers vary, and pairing a non-dimming driver with a wall dimmer can damage both.

One pendant or several?

At 15.7″ across, one reads as a deliberate focal point over a round table or in an entry. Over a long island or rectangular table, two or three in a row work better — space them 24–30″ apart centre to centre, keep the outer ones at least 6″ in from the ends, and set every drop to the same height, since uneven drops are the most visible error in a run of flat discs.
