Calysa Plug In Pendant Light

The Calysa began with a single bloom caught mid-opening — petals still curling outward, edges thinned enough for afternoon light to pass through and warm at the tips. That moment set the form: panels that curve away from a central point rather than closing into a dome, and a tint that deepens from ivory at the center to amber at the rim, the way a petal darkens where it catches sun. Hung from a long draped cord, it reads less like a fixture and more like something cut and brought indoors.

Because it plugs into a wall outlet, the Calysa suits renters and rooms without a ceiling box — hung over a nightstand in place of a table lamp, above a reading chair, or over a small dining nook. Fix the first hook where you want the shade, use the second to redirect the cord toward the nearest outlet, and let the excess loop along the wall.

The single E26 socket gives accent and ambient light rather than a room's main source. A warm 3000K bulb brings out the ivory-to-amber gradient in the petals, and the flower form pairs naturally with rattan, linen, and warm wood tones.
