Each Docos lamp is shaped from a single, slow-grown hardwood — oak, walnut, ash, cherry — finished by hand and fitted with warm 2700K bulbs. No two pieces are alike, because no two trees are.

From measurement to finish, woodworking demands a balance of structure and patience. Every cut is squared, every joint dry-fit, every surface hand-sanded to 220 grit before oiling.

I wanted a lamp I could put on the wall, one that would not be too bright, and one that wouldn't shine in my eyes. This lamp is great. I have it hanging on the window facing and positioned it so that I can read in my bed. It can be positioned up or down and right or left. It's cool looking, too!
