Inspiration

The Fanora Wall Sconce started from the carved stone scallop shells set above old garden fountains and wall niches around the Mediterranean, worn rough by years of sun and spray. We kept the open fan of ribs and the small ruffled shell at its base, and made the whole piece in a textured microcement with a sandy, speckled surface, close to that weathered stone. The light sits behind the small shell and shines up into the fan.

Is it made of real shell?
No. It is shaped like a scallop shell and made of textured microcement in a sand beige, with a speckled, slightly rough surface like weathered stone.
How bright is it?
It uses one 5W G4 bulb in Warm Light (3000K), shining up into the fan. It is a soft accent light for a hallway, stairway or bedside wall; use two or more along a hallway, or pair it with a ceiling light in a larger room.
Will it fit a narrow hallway?
Yes. It sits only 10cm/3.9″ out from the wall, so it stays clear of shoulders in a hallway or on a stairway.
How is it installed?
It is hardwired to a wall junction box, so we recommend a licensed electrician. The G4 bulb is included.
