Inspiration

The Mosaquielle Pendant Lamp started from a doorway in an old market lane in Marrakech: a small dome above it set with chips of colored tile, and below it a curtain of glass beads that clicked and swayed whenever someone walked through. We set colored glass into a small gold dome, hung a beaded glass fringe from its rim in a pointed hem, and added a single wooden bead where the cord meets the top.

Where will it fit?

At Dia 20cm/7.9″ x H 30cm/11.8″, it works as a bedside pendant, over a reading nook or in a small entryway. Over a kitchen island, hang two or three in a row.

How bright is it?

It holds one E26 or E27 bulb in Warm Light (3000K), included. Light shows through the colored glass on the dome and falls down through the bead fringe, so it works as accent and ambient light rather than bright task light.

How do I care for the fringe?

Turn off the light and dust the glass beads with a soft dry brush, working downward along each strand. If strands tangle, separate them gently by hand.

How is it installed?

It is hardwired to a ceiling junction box and hangs from a 150cm/59″ adjustable cord with a 12cm/4.7″ canopy, so we recommend a licensed electrician.
