The Neptune Travertine Wall Lamp begins with the material and lets that be the design. A column of natural travertine, cut and finished, mounts flush to the wall — one light, two, or three emerging from the stone in a clean vertical line. The texture is already there in the stone itself: the veining, the mineral variation, the occasional small void that is the geological record of how travertine forms. No pattern has been applied. The lamp is what it is, and that is enough.

Installation Note: Due to the natural width of the travertine stone, the stone piece may not fully cover a standard US electrical junction box. A round mounting cover plate is included to provide a secure installation solution and meet standard electrical requirements.

Optional Installation Note: The round cover plate is optional depending on your electrical box situation. If your wall structure allows direct mounting, the fixture can also be installed without the cover plate.

About the Travertine

Natural Stone — Each Piece Is Unique Travertine is a sedimentary limestone formed over thousands of years in thermal spring deposits. The characteristic veining, color gradation, and small surface voids are not manufacturing variations — they are the geological record of the stone's formation. No two pieces share the same pattern, which means the Neptune lamp you receive will not look identical to any product image or another person's lamp. The imperfections are the material. The material is the point.

What Neptune Does

🪨 Travertine Body The stone is the structure — not a decorative element applied to a lamp, but the lamp itself. It gives the fixture a weight and presence that fabricated materials don't produce, and a surface that reads differently in different lights.

📏 Vertical Form The lamp's narrow width and vertical orientation give it a column-like quality — it adds height to a wall without spreading horizontally. A single Neptune is a considered detail. A pair flanking a mirror or bed becomes a composition.

🔆 Dimmer Compatible From task brightness to a low, ambient warmth. Pair with a dimmer switch (sold separately) and the stone surface picks up the warmer qualities of lower-output light in a way that changes how the texture reads.

Your assumption is entirely correct. The 7W figure mentioned in the product description indeed refers to the LED bulb.

Since the luminous efficiency of LED bulbs is far superior to that of traditional incandescent bulbs, a 7W LED bulb provides ample brightness while generating heat levels that remain well within the fixture's thermal tolerance. Conversely, using a 7W incandescent bulb would result in extremely dim light—insufficient to meet standard lighting requirements.

What is the max watt I can use for each bulb if I purchase a two light fixture style?
