The Braella reads as warm sculptural wood — the bent veneer strips show their natural grain even when unlit, and the donut silhouette is wider than it is tall, so it sits visually horizontal under most ceilings. Which size should I pick for my space?

Pick by the surface or space below. Small (15.7″) works over a breakfast nook, beside a bed, in a home office, or in a hallway. Medium (19.7″) is the most popular — single over a small dining table, or in pairs over a kitchen island. Large (23.6″) works over a 6-seat dining table or a large kitchen island. Is this real walnut, and will the grain match the photo?

Yes — the shade is built from real walnut wood veneer (thin slices of natural walnut bonded to a flexible backing), bent into curves and woven around an internal metal frame. Grain pattern and exact tone vary slightly piece to piece — that’s the natural character of walnut, not a defect. Some pendants read warmer brown, others slightly darker; some have prominent grain streaks, others read more uniform. The listing photo is representative, not a guaranteed match. Is the bulb included, and what should I use as a replacement?

Yes — 1 × E26 LED bulb (9W, 3000K warm white) is included, and it’s fully replaceable (not integrated LED). For replacements, use a standard E26 LED bulb, max 9–12W, 2700–3000K warm white. Do not use incandescent or halogen — they run hot, and walnut veneer near a hot bulb will discolor over time and can warp the veneer strips. LED bulbs at this spec are available at Amazon, Home Depot, Lowes, and any lighting retailer.

How do I install it — can I shorten the cord?

It’s a hardwired pendant — mounts to a standard ceiling junction box via the small black metal canopy (4.7″ D). Cord ships at 59 inches (150 cm) and is shortenable during install — a licensed electrician can cut and re-terminate the cord to your preferred hang height. Hang the bottom 30–36 inches above a kitchen island or dining table, or 7 feet above the floor in a hallway or open room.

Can I use it in a bathroom or outdoors?

No to both as a default. The fixture is not damp-rated; persistent moisture causes wood veneer to swell, warp, and delaminate from the underlying frame. Avoid full bathrooms with shower steam, kitchens directly over a range with cooking steam, covered porches in humid climates, and any outdoor location.
