Inspiration

The Calivelle Table Lamp sets a woven rattan-look shade on a round ceramic ball glazed in a crackle finish, the surface breaking into a web of fine lines like ice on a pond. The shade is edged with a scalloped hem and a narrow tan band, and a small green ceramic knob caps the top. The base is thrown by hand, glaze-fired, and polished, so each sphere carries its own crackle pattern; it comes in celadon, forest green, or blush pink, under either a wide cone shade or a tapered drum shade. This rattan shade ceramic table lamp fits a nightstand, dresser, or kids' bedroom in coquette, cottagecore, or grandmillennial rooms, and pairs with gingham, painted furniture, and cane or wicker pieces.

Key Features

Crackle-Glaze Ceramic Sphere
Hand-thrown ceramic is glaze-fired so the surface splits into a fine crackle network; no two spheres match exactly.
Scalloped Woven Shade
A rattan-pattern fabric shade with a wavy hem and tan trim lets pinpricks of light through the weave.
Green Ceramic Finial
A glazed ceramic ball tops the shade and unscrews to lift the shade off for cleaning or bulb changes.

FAQ

Is the crackle pattern a defect?
No. The crackle glaze is fired on purpose so the surface breaks into fine lines. Because each sphere is hand-thrown, the pattern and depth of the lines differ from piece to piece.
What is the shade made of?
A rattan-look woven fabric on a rigid liner, with a scalloped hem and tan trim. It is not natural cane, so it will not dry out or split.
Cone or drum shade — which should I pick?
Style A cone is 30cm/11.8″ wide and throws light down over a wider circle for a nightstand or console. Style B drum is 23cm/9.1″ wide and sits tighter for a narrow shelf or small side table. Both are 36cm/14.2″ tall.
What bulb does it use?
One E26 or E27 bulb, warm light, included.
— Our Philosophy —

Lighting that earns its place.

At Docos, every lamp begins as a lump of clay and ends as the warmest corner of a room. We don't chase trends. We shape pieces meant to live with you — through quiet evenings, long winters, and houses that grow up around them. Made by hand. Fired hard. Built to glow.

— The Process —

Born from the hands of masters.

Every Docos base is shaped, glazed, and fired by artisans with decades of practice. We fire our stoneware to 1300°C — nearly twice the heat of standard ceramics — giving each piece the density of stone and the smoothness of jade. No two are identical. None of them are accidents.

— The Detail —

Texture you can actually feel.

Real ceramic has a weight that plastic and metal can't fake. Run your hand along the shade — you'll find soft ridges, hand-painted petals, and glaze that catches the light differently from every angle. It's the difference between owning a lamp and living with one.

  • GlazeLead-free, fade-resistant. Looks the same in year ten as year one.
  • SurfaceHand-carved ridges and hand-painted motifs — every base unique.
  • WeightSolid stoneware, not hollow plaster. Feels like a piece of stone.
